We went to Central Market for KIDS EAT FREE last Tuesday, like usual! This week Kim, Grace, and Vivian went with us. Tuesday nights are always a mix of fun AND craziness. The kids have to wait in line to get their faces painted and sometimes it can take a while, and then they are super excited and don't always want to eat dinner. This was the day after 1st grade started and I mentioned in an earlier post about Trey's "testing the first grade waters." He was so weird this night at dinner! He got Spongebob painted on his face and while Grace was getting her face painted he washed his face off and said he didn't want her to see because he was embarrassed. WOAH. Embarrassed from one of his best friends seeing his face painted? I was confused. Straight up. Since when is this an issue?? This is all part of me getting over the fact that he is growing up....:/ Hopefully these things won't be as dramatic and surprising when Brady gets there, because I will just know this is part of it!

We just love these sweet girls and their mama! They are among the few friends we met and have kept in touch with from last year's Kinder class.
