NUMBER 6- Shepherd School
I must get back to my top 10 list.. (Before it's 2012!)
transition for Trey was a piece of cake. Well, then there was
Brady. I thought for sure moving him from one Kinder
Care to another would be the answer. That we would get the
same quality of care and meet a new group of friends. Wrong.
I was dragging Brady into school and praying all the way into
work for him to have just one happy day. It was just not a fit
for him. I had a couple of bad preschool experiences with Trey. (one
that involved emergency plastic surgery on his fingers) So I may have
been a little scared of change for this reason too. With lots of prayer and
suggestions from friends I started calling every preschool within 15 miles of our
house. Our house that was in DALLAS yet I still couldn't find a school
with an opening for my boy.. really?? I finally got an email from a mom in
Trey's class who suggested their old preschool to me. It was a Christian
based school primarily for seminary students and single parents. I called
and went to visit that day. The director of this school was truly an answered
prayer. She assured me that there was room for Brady, and most importantly
that she would love him and teach him God's word. A huge weight lifted!
Here are a few pics from the new place on Halloween.. and the countdown to Kinder has
started!! Brady was born for Kinder, I swear.. he would have gone from walking
to big boy school had someone let him!
This is the director, Elizabeth and her son dressed as a rock band... can't you tell how great they are?
He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand. Psalm 95:7
Oh my gosh, I love the dress up on the director! She looks like so much fun!
